Frances Tiafoe added more sparkles to his results by beating South Korea’s Kwon Soon-woo at the Japan Open.
Tiafoe had reached his first Grand Slam semi-final at the U.S. Open in September. He had also reached his second title decider, even playing a poor second set.

South Korean player Kwon was nervous in the opener and struggled to catch Tiafoe’s balls, allowing Tiafoe to claim the first set, but he managed to sweep the second set 6-0.
Third-seeded Fritz has played high-quality shots throughout the match with Canada’s Denis Shapovalov. In the end, Fritz still landed a brilliant lob shot to win the breaking point. The victory ensured Fritz to make his top 10 debuts in next week’s rankings.
