Siti Nurshuhaini said she was glad she won in the Sukma finals and showed that BAM players could do well. She hasn’t played well for quite some time and was delighted with the gold.

The final was an easy match for her, but she grew in confidence as the game progressed. She hopes this will be a good start for her.

Besides getting the gold medal in the Sukma finals, she is one of the badminton players BAM selected for the World Junior Championships in Santander, Spain.

Siti Nurshuhaini said she would do her best in the World Junior Championships as there would be many stronger competitors from Indonesia and Thailand.
