Letshanaa Back To Relaunch Her Career

 K. Letshanaa, who was once touted as a badminton prodigy, is now trying to salvage her career.

Letshanaa was called up to the national senior squad in 2020, but she resigned due to a back injury a year later.

Now she is back on the court and targeting the gold at the Malaysia Games. Her dream is to qualify for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Long Road To Recover For Letshanaa

Letshanaa said it had been a long road since she officially left BAM last year. She wasn’t fit to compete and wasn’t recovering at that time. Now she is trained by her brother and father at the Flying Spirit Badminton Academy in Selayang and Sungai Buloh,

Malaysia game will be her first competitive match since her last participation at Czech Open last October. Her biggest challenge is to secure her sponsors as her ranking has dropped. She has to get her ranking up.

Letshanaa mentioned that the absence of Goh Jin Wei could be a blessing and a good chance for the rest. It helps her to focus more on the game as Jin Wei is on a different level.

Letshanaa aims to break into the world’s top 100 and will compete in the Australian and New Zealand tournaments.
