National women’s doubles shuttler Go Pei Kee will start a new journey with Vanessa Ng. She hopes for a fresh start in her career after breaking up the partnership with Yap Ling.
The pair’s debut will be in the Indonesian Masters. Pei Kee will be doing double duty as she will also be playing in mixed double. She will be partnering with Chong Hon Jian for the first time.
Pei Kee New Partnership Debut In The Indonesian Masters
Doubles coaching director Rexy Mainaky said they had entered Pei Kee for the Indonesian Masters with Vanessa and Hon Jian at the moment. They have not decided what’s after the tournament but will stick to these partnerships.
When partnering with Yap Ling, they failed to get past the early rounds of the Syed Modi India International, Swiss Open, and Orleans Masters.
The pair was ranked 140th in the world. They were floored by Covid-19 before the Hanoi SEA Games. However, they recovered in time to play in the competition but struggled due to the after-effects of Covid 19.
Pei Kee is looking to come back strongly in the Indonesian Masters. Her previous partner, Yap Ling, has been teamed up with Chen Tang Jie.
