Zii Jia said he had contacted Axelsen and Antonsen to train with them, and they are now finalizing the details. He was disappointed with himself for exiting the World Championships in the early rounds and the criticisms hurled at him.

Zii Jia had put high expectations on himself. Although he is disappointed with the result, but he has to accept it and move on. It will be a good lesson for him, and he has to work harder on his focus and believe in himself.

Lee Zii Jia will be opting out of the Commonwealth Games. He said he had no regrets about opting out as he was injured. Although he had opted out, the team did well and won the mixed team gold.

Lee Zii Jia is now focusing on getting more ranking points for a spot in the World Tour Finals from Dec 14-18. He is seventh in the standing and will need to remain in the top-eight to qualify.

He had skipped the Malaysian Masters and Singapore Open in July, so he had to collect as many points as possible in the upcoming tournaments. This is to ensure that he can be qualified for the finals.

He will be participating in the French Open, and probably the Hylo Open, and the Australian Open. He also aims to do well at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
